How Do You Report Someone On Facebook
On Mobile
1. Open Facebook App.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Tap the search bar on top of the display, enter the name of the person you intend to report, touch their name, and afterwards tap their account image.
3. Tap More. This option is near the top of the user's web page, simply listed below and to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It's in the pop-up food selection. Doing so brings up another food selection with reporting alternatives.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Faucet among the following alternatives in the menu:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you selected either the Making believe to Be A person option or the I Intended to Help option, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they acting to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a factor (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you give us some even more information?" section.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue button at the end of the display.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so validates that your record was sent.
On Desktop computer
1. Open Facebook. Most likely to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer's internet internet browser. This will certainly open your Information Feed if you're already logged right into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar on top of the display, key in the name of the individual you intend to report, click their name, and afterwards click their account image. Alternatively, find and click their name in your Information Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's snuggled in the bottom-right corner of the cover photo at the top of their profile web page. Doing so motivates a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It's in the pop-up food selection. This opens a home window with various reporting choices.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click one of the following alternatives in the home window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you chose either the Acting to Be A person alternative or the I Want to Assist choice, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they acting to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a factor (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you give us some even more information?" section.
7. Click Send. This blue button is in the bottom-right edge of the window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This confirms that your report has been sent.
