Report Facebook Account
On Mobile
1. Open Up Facebook Application.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Tap the search bar on top of the display, type in the name of the individual you wish to report, touch their name, and after that tap their profile picture.
3. Tap More. This choice is near the top of the individual's page, simply below as well as to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It's in the pop-up menu. Doing so raises an additional menu with reporting alternatives.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Tap among the complying with alternatives in the food selection:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you picked either the Claiming to Be Someone alternative or the I Want to Help option, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "That are they making believe to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a reason (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you give us some even more information?" section.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue switch at the end of the screen.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so confirms that your report was sent out.
On Desktop
1. Open Facebook. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer's internet browser. This will certainly open your News Feed if you're already logged right into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar at the top of the screen, type in the name of the person you want to report, click their name, and then click their profile image. Conversely, find and click their name in your Information Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's nestled in the bottom-right edge of the cover photo on top of their account web page. Doing so triggers a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up food selection. This opens up a home window with numerous reporting options.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click among the complying with options in the home window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you selected either the Pretending to Be A person choice or the I Intended to Help option, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "That are they claiming to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a factor (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you give us some even more details?" area.
7. Click Send. This blue button remains in the bottom-right corner of the home window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This verifies that your report has actually been sent out.
