Report Someone On Facebook
On Mobile
1. Open Up Facebook Application.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Tap the search bar on top of the screen, key in the name of the individual you intend to report, touch their name, and afterwards tap their profile photo.
3. Tap More. This choice is near the top of the user's web page, simply listed below as well as to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It's in the pop-up food selection. Doing so brings up another food selection with reporting options.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Tap one of the complying with options in the food selection:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you chose either the Acting to Be Someone choice or the I Want to Assist choice, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they acting to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a factor (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you give us some more information?" area.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue button at the end of the display.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so verifies that your record was sent out.
On Desktop
1. Open up Facebook. Most likely to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer's web browser. This will certainly open your Information Feed if you're already logged into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar on top of the display, key in the name of the person you intend to report, click their name, and after that click their profile photo. Conversely, locate and click their name in your News Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's nestled in the bottom-right edge of the cover image on top of their profile page. Doing so motivates a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up food selection. This opens up a window with various reporting alternatives.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click one of the following alternatives in the home window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you chose either the Claiming to Be Somebody choice or the I Wished to Aid option, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they making believe to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a factor (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you give us some more information?" section.
7. Click Send. This blue switch remains in the bottom-right edge of the window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This confirms that your record has actually been sent out.
