Recently I saw an article about using a search feature to locate people that were "following me." Trouble was, it was in fact just returning results of individuals with the words "following me" in their profile! So I did my friends a favor and worked up a quick overview to see that is "following you" on Facebook.

First thing to note: complying with doesn't really imply anything, particularly if you two aren't "friends." It just suggests that your messages noted PUBLIC will show up in their timeline. Immaterial (you marked it PUBLIC, right?).
