Report A Profile On Facebook
On Mobile
1. Open Up Facebook App.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Tap the search bar at the top of the display, key in the name of the individual you intend to report, tap their name, and afterwards touch their profile picture.
3. Tap More. This option is near the top of the user's page, simply below and to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up menu. Doing so brings up an additional food selection with reporting options.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Faucet among the following options in the menu:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you chose either the Claiming to Be A person option or the I Want to Assist choice, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "That are they acting to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a reason (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you provide us some even more information?" area.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue button at the end of the display.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so verifies that your record was sent.
On Desktop computer
1. Open up Facebook. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer's internet browser. This will certainly open your Information Feed if you're already logged into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar on top of the screen, type in the name of the person you want to report, click their name, and then click their profile image. Alternatively, find as well as click their name in your Information Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's snuggled in the bottom-right edge of the cover photo at the top of their profile web page. Doing so motivates a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up menu. This opens a home window with numerous reporting alternatives.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click among the following alternatives in the home window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you picked either the Pretending to Be A person alternative or the I Want to Assist choice, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they claiming to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a factor (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you provide us some more details?" section.
7. Click Send. This blue switch remains in the bottom-right edge of the window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This verifies that your report has actually been sent.
