Send A Report To Facebook
On Mobile
1. Open Facebook Application.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Touch the search bar on top of the display, key in the name of the individual you wish to report, touch their name, and afterwards touch their account image.
3. Tap More. This alternative is near the top of the individual's page, just listed below as well as to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It's in the pop-up menu. Doing so brings up an additional food selection with reporting options.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Tap one of the complying with choices in the food selection:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you chose either the Claiming to Be Somebody choice or the I Intended to Aid alternative, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "That are they pretending to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a factor (e.g., Self-destruction or Harassment) in the "Can you give us some even more information?" area.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue switch at the bottom of the screen.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so validates that your report was sent.
On Desktop
1. Open Facebook. Most likely to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer's internet browser. This will open your Information Feed if you're already logged into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar on top of the display, key in the name of the individual you intend to report, click their name, and then click their profile picture. Conversely, locate and also click their name in your Information Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's snuggled in the bottom-right corner of the cover image on top of their profile web page. Doing so motivates a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It's in the pop-up menu. This opens up a home window with numerous reporting alternatives.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click one of the following alternatives in the window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you chose either the Making believe to Be Somebody option or the I Wished to Aid choice, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they pretending to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a reason (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you provide us some even more details?" area.
7. Click Send. This blue switch is in the bottom-right corner of the home window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This verifies that your report has been sent out.
